Attention: We have a short best by date for some of our products especially those products from Nestle such as Maggi, Milo , etc due to their policy of having a short shelf date for their products and also Ibumie Instant noodles. This was further exacerbated by the shipping crisis due to Covid and strike action by Port employees whereby goods transported by sea took more than 5 months to get to us.

However, these instant noodles can last you for several months after their best before date.

Best before” is used on foods with longer shelf-life. The best before date is about the quality of the food, You can eat food past its best before date if it looks, smells and tastes fine. The golden rule to remember is that best before is a GUIDELINE, for when to eat your food.

IBUMIE instant noodles is hand-crafted to offer consumers flavours from Penang’s rich food culture and heritage. Kari Kapitan or Captain’s Curry is a Peranakan chicken curry dish which is rich in spice and flavour. Ibumie Mi Goreng Kari Kapitan uses a variety of dried spices such as chilli, fennel, cardamom, clove and coriander to bring you a plate of springy noodles coated in authentic Peranakan curry bursting with flavours. It tastes so good; you will want to have another plate.

How to make IBUMIE Mi Goreng Kari Kapitan
Step 1 Boil 450mil water in pot
Step 2 Add noodles. Leave for 2 minutes.
Step 3 Drain water. Caution: HOT! Use with care.
Step 4 Add seasoning to the cooked noodles according to your taste preference and mix evenly.
